Paying It Forward

My turn to send a RAK. A call for cards went out on the Gingerwood Bulletin Board earlier this week for a young woman with an agressive form of leukemia, which was detected right before Christmas. Supplies Used: Friends Are Like Flowers and Warm Words (SU), and Squiggles (TAC) stamp sets. The main image is watercolored using SU Watercolor Crayons and mounted on Pixie Pink, Close to Cocoa, and Tempting Turquoise cardstock. I stamped the Squiggles and the Thinking of You sentiment with SU's White Craft Ink, and punched out the two circle designs from SU's Loves Me Designer Series paper. The brads are from SU's Bold Bright series. Both the main image and the circles are popped up on dimensionals (my latest obsession!). TAC has some really nice looking squiggle, ribbons and other flourish type sets. I think a new one is coming out soon and worth investigating! Coming up soon on the blog: an article highlighting some small business owners in the craft field and more paper comparisons (this time metallics!).
