Friday Night Stampin'

After a bunch of false starts earlier this week, I cleaned up the accumulated mess. Then I set about to make a card for a fellow in my office who just had a grandson. I wanted to use this striped paper that I got in one of those big 12 x 12 stacks. The problem with the paper in this stack is that many of the colors do not coordinate well with my SU inks and cardstock, but this paper was close enough to Turquoise to work. And, I love Chocolate Chip with just about anything. I used my Japanese Screw Punch to punch out a few of the white spots on the giraffe, so that the turquoise card stock would poke through. My circle punches came in handy on the "Welcome Little One" saying from the Riveting set. This card is a 5 x 5 -- perfect when you are not going to mail the card.

  1. Terrific card. Using the screw punch for the spots was genius. i have one and can always use ideas for it other than book binding and eyelets. There is a card in one of the SU minis that uses punching and this punch will certainly do the trick.
