Featured Artist: Broni Holcombe/Waterchild12

(I digress for a moment -- can't figure out how to insert an active link with my new MAC. Patience!) One of my favorite things about this blog is the opportunity to scour the galleries and find stampers whose work is lovely, but may not yet receive the notice that other stampers receive. Broni (Waterchild12 on splitcoaststampers) http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&page=1&ppuser=39883 is one of those stampers. Aren't these cards lovely? And the coasters are adorable! Broni's been an SU demo for a little over a year. She told me that "I really had not stamped at all before my daughter invited me to an SU workshop. Of course, that was all it took to reel me in! I have learned about stamping mostly through all the tutorials and challenges at SCS. Those people are so talented and wonderful for sharing their wealth of knowledge." Broni's an accountant for a major beer company by day, but really identifies herself as a mother of 2 beautiful daughters and a "Nana" to 3 very handsome young grandsons. She also loves to read, garden, swim, and kayak!

Featured Artist of the Week: Redapron

I've decided to feature a different stamper on my blog every week. Splitcoaststampers and other galleries have "stars" -- folks whose galleries are bookmarked, linked to on blogs, etc. I want to highlight some stampers whose work is flying under the radar screen.
This week is "Redapron" -- her name on Splitcoast. Is this card the cutest get well card ever?? A shaker card with little alphabit soup noodles -- you just can't get any more clever than this. And the colors are so bright and cheery -- perfect for a get well card. Liz informs me that she CASEd this card from Sarah Moore, so thanks to both of you for your clever work.
