More Answers to Contest Questions!

Instead of going back to the original posting, I'll answer some questions here: 1. If you are a member of a design team and are paid in product or cash, you are not eligible -- even if you don't use the products for which you are on a design team. I appreciate your honesty!! 2. The deadline is in paragraph 9 I believe -- Entries MUST be posted no later than 9 pm east coast of the United States of America (!!) by Friday February 16th 2007. 3. I am unable to read some of the entries. I know I said I wouldn't check, but I wanted to see if I could read them so I spot checked. If I cannot see your entry, after the deadline I'll post your name and you can email me a picture. We'll get it done. 4. I've received some very nice emails with questions. Thank you for those questions and thanks for the kind words. However, I've also received some emails with complaints about the contest!!! HELLO? This is a giveaway, not a contract or the Federal Government!! Lighten up stampers. Let's have fun, enjoy each other's entries and don't sweat the small stuff in life. $50 is a lot of money but it isn't going to change anyone's life.... 5. Thanks for participating. Even if you don't enter, just knowing that so many of you are looking at the cards and reading the blog gives me warm fuzzies!!! 6. Edited to add: Wow. You have to have a US address to win this contest. I'm sorry, but if an SU demo can order product and have it shipped directly to you, you are eligible. Otherwise, you are not. I received a question on it and realized that I should have made it clearer. Gee, this contest stuff is harder than I expected it to be. I hope there are no hard feelings from our non US friends!

  5. Hi Joan - another question - do you have to live in the US? I'm Canadian and am not sure if it is legal to buy SU! from an American demo... Just wondering!

  10. Geez Joan. You are not the first person to get complaints for doing something generous. I saw something just the other day on another board that was very similar. This Canuck was quite happy to play as I LOVE challenges and sharing ideas..........that you were offering a prize was a major bonus and quite kind of you!!! Unfortunately, there are always negative people that will crawl out of the woodwork in cyberspace and otherwise. I say tell them to get a Life. No one is forcing us to visit your blog (which of course is incredibly enjoyable). Let's not beat up on Joan for being the generous lady that she is!!!!!!
