Friends

Here's a card I made over the past 2 days. I went through a lot of background stamps trying to find just the right look to put behind the girl, and ended up using my all time favorite Linen and for the first time, Dots and Daiseys. I wanted something soft, but not bland and think I found the right combination. I really enjoy a little watercoloring and this stamp makes it easy to do so -- I just kept layering on colors until I got the look I wanted. Coral and turquoise is a great color combo -- makes me think of the sea and the sky. She's a little dressed up for wandering by the ocean, but I think she's just come from a garden wedding at a big house by the sea and needs a little time to herself before getting back to all her friends. I call this card "Friends" -- the quote says it all!
