I Love You a Latte!

Here are a bunch(!!) of pics of my "I Love You a Latte" donation for my office's raffle for the Combined Federal Campaign. I was inspired by numerous stampers on splitcoaststampers to alter a box of Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino. I decided to make mine a Valentine's Day theme, hoping that the men in the office can be persuaded to buy a ticket for this and take care of Valentine's Day at the same time. According to my husband, most men will jump at the chance to buy something -- anything -- to make this holiday easier. And, I think anyone would love a "one of a kind" gift that combines chocolate and frappuccino!
I used Stampin Up's Loves Me Designer Double Sided Paper and the Sweet on You stamp set, both from the new SU Winter Mini. I really like the Sweet on You set -- 4 stamps for $11.95, and I was sold on it as soon as I saw the inverted scallop circle with "sweet" in the center. One of the things I like about Stampin Up is that the stamps fit their punches. In this case, I used the 1 and 1/4" punch for the heart and scallop and then layered them using the 1 and 3/8" punch and then popped them all up on dimensionals. Although I have the "I like it a latte" set from the Winter Mini, that sentiment didn't quite fit, so I printed out my own version. After seeing the picture, I've decided to trip the ribbons a bit -- I think they overwhelm the cute tag, which I attached with a dark brown safety pin.
If I had more time, I whip up another one of these as it was a lot of fun to make, but I'm embarrassed to say how long this took me to finish!
