New Featured Artist: Vicki Garrett

My newest featured stamper is Vicki Garrett. She posts her gallery on splitcoast stampers under the name Summerthyme64. Isn't her work fabulous???? I had a hard time selecting which cards to feature because there are SO many in her gallery that are wonderful.

Vicki lives in Kingston, Ontario which is about 2.5 hours east of Toronto. By day, she facilitates treatment programs for Federally sentenced offenders. By night, she enjoys all types of papercrafting including cardmaking, scrapbooking and doing eclectic items such as file folder and tin albums and altering books and boxes. You must check out a pin she made with SU's Cool Cat -- it is to die for!!!

Vicki's been an SU demo for about 4 years. She signed up with virtually no stamping experience and is self taught, relying on the internet to learn new techniques. Her main scrapbooking subject and the "Light in my Life" is her 10 year old son Jonathon..........he is quite the stamper himself. You can see some of his creations in Vicki's gallery. Apart from stamping --- is there "an apart from stamping???" --- Vicki shared with me that she also enjoys Saturday night jam sessions with her musical friends ( she sings and plays guitar and piano), karate and kickboxing and a good read.
