Featured Artist: Cindy Motherway

Sit back and enjoy the work of Cindy Motherway, a/k/a "Mothermark" on Splitcoaststampers. Cindy has been stamping for about 8 years. She got hooked after she walked by a Stamp World in her local mall and saw a whole bunch of women looking at rubber stamps. As Cindy noted "I said to my husband....Look at those crazy women in there going ga-ga over all those wooden stamps!!! Now I am one of those crazy women!" Cindy sold Close to My Heart for about 5 years and still has a lot of CTMH, but has been buying SU stamps and various other company's stamps all along. Currently, she is using a lot of Stampin Up stamps as she loves wood mounted. Cindy has been married to Ken for 32 years and together raised Brad, "a very fun-loving, well-rounded, really good 21 year old kid." Ken is a journeyman electrician and Brad races professional motocross. Cindy works as the office manager for the management company for an upscale breakfast and lunch restaurant. Her other interests include "stamping, stamping and stamping. I have also been know to watch an occasional motocross race with #86 in it!" These cards show the breadth of Cindy's skills -- all styles and colors, each full of detail and executed with flair, and that something special that takes it from ordinary to Wow!!! Cindy demonstrates that in the hands of a skilled artist, you can take any image -- from classic to cute to elegant and make it something special. I'm happy to highlight "Mothermark" today and hope you enjoy her work as much as I do!!
